1066 Training Terms & conditions for open course learning

Payment.

The full cost of the course must be paid, in full immediately on receipt of the invoice, in order to confirm your place(s). We endeavour to keep in regular contact with clients about their booking, but where invoices are not settled promptly, places may be reallocated to other clients. We reserve the right to refuse admission where course fees have not been paid.

Cancellation / failure to attend.

We accept cancellation without penalty up to 3 weeks before the workshop date. Sorry, no refunds can be offered for cancellations made less than 3 weeks before the workshop, or where delegates fail to attend booked training.

Transfer of training.

If you are unable to attend your training, we are pleased to accept substitutions – please notify us if you wish to send a colleague in your place. (This does not need to be someone from the same organisation). Please notify us of any substitutions at least 3 days prior to the course. We reserve the right to charge a small nominal administration fee where substitutions are made with less than 3 days’ notice.

Fees.

The fees quoted on our website and in any publicity are correct at the time of publication, but we reserve the right to alter the cost of courses. Courses externally accredited by an awarding body (First Aid courses for example, require an additional examination fee payable to the awarding body, but this fee is included in the price quoted).

Replacement certificates.

We provide certificates for all learners. In order to keep our pricing competitive, some certificates are provided electronically. There is an admin fee of £10.00 to provide replacement copies of lost hardcopy certificates.

Discounts & special offers.

1066 Training offers discounts to registered charities, community groups and not for profit organisations. Discounted rates shown on our website and in published material are correct at the time of publication. 1066 Training reserves the right to alter or withdraw discounts at any time. Discounts must be claimed at the time of booking and will not be automatically applied.
* Discounts are only available on full price courses and cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers.

Withdrawal of workshops.

1066 Training reserves the right to withdraw workshops without liability. Wherever possible, the decision to cancel a workshop will be taken no later than 2 weeks prior to its scheduled date. If workshops are cancelled, learners booked on those events will be offered a full refund, or the option to transfer to the next scheduled workshop.
We advise you to confirm that your workshop is running before booking any train travel or other non-refundable expenses.

Your details are kept after the training has been completed so that we can answer questions about the learning or provide replacement information (i.e. certificates). However, we will not use your information for marketing purposes unless you have specifically consented to this. In relation to your learners details, to provide the learning, we have a legitimate interest to process their information, and information about privacy will be provided to them ahead of their workshop.
